VOB Cutter

Hello!

I am looking for a simple tool to cut the beginning and the end of VOB files (KiSS DP-558 recordings) before Dr. Divx encoding.

Some ideas?

Rename the vob to mpg.
Should think Dr.Divx can open mpegs

I am using Ulead DVD movie factory or VirtualDub, and it works there

Just convert the VOB file with DR.DIVX to Divx Format.
Use AVI Cutter to cut the parts you don't want
Use AVI Joiner to joint the AVI files you want
Burn it to disk or copy it to the KiSS HDD and enjoy...

We plan on making this kind of tutorials but lack time at the moment

I use AVI/MPEG/ASF/WMV Splitter which is quite easy to use.

Try use MPEG2VCR http://www.womble.com/products/
This app is very sipmple and fast for VOB cutting.
Some people have not fast computers and I think is better firs cut some scenes (adverts) and then convert (if you need convert) to avi.
