I do belive many of the readers here are mp3 collectors,
and i would like to ask if there is a tool that organizes mp3`s fysically on the harddrive? i mean mediaplayer just org. them inside, when i close it my mp3`s are still shatterd arond everywhere, i was thinking of modding my 500 to 508, but then i would nead to have them org, first.

all help helps (allmost) :?:

So you mean organize them physically on the disk...

Use a file renamer and let it add numbers to the files like 001 and 002...
For the KiSS, no luck since KiSS listst them at creation date i think and not alphabet which would make more sence...
Rather the files are on the CPU or on the KiSS does not make any difference.

U can however use KiSS EzLink to have some ez and quick listst of the mp3's and arrange them all sorst a way at a click...

Does this help?

well it helps alittle, but ez link does separate between small and capital letters, and does not think space , underscore or dash are the same
then if i get mp3s from different sorces i end up with several folders named with the same band
Like:

Rolling Stones
roling stones
ROLLING STONES
Rolling_Stones

an so on and so forth.....
of course this could easely be fixed mannually, but there is so much mp3, and so little time.

so my search for a tool that organizes still is on... Anyone??

Use a file renamer and let it add numbers to the files like 001 and 002...
This kind of sogtware can also de-capitalis or capitalise automatic, change spaces in underscores and all you can thingk of...
