anamorph 16:9 video always fit the screen on a 4:3 TV

hi,
see subject. Any hint's? I tried everything without success..always full screen display. Maybe I am to stupid for that...but every 50 Euro player can handle that without any problems...but not my BLT...always egg heads :-(
