FW 1.1.4 an impovement?

I've been following the various posts regarding FW 1.1.4, but still I haven't yet taken the step to upgrade myself. :oops:

I know, I am a bit of a wuss, but I've heard both good and bad things about the latest firmware. It fixes some bugs, but introduces some new.

My question is now, what is the overall verdict? Should I upgrade or should I wait for 1.1.5?

As of now, I now only have the OOS and WN problems (I know this isn't to be fixed in this FW). My FTP transfer rate is about 600 KB. The question would be, are there any good reasons to upgrade, or would I only get more troubles with this new FW. Any benefits?

Deffinately do the update. :-)
Since you already have OOS and WN, you get additional FTP slow issue which you can fix easily in most cases and "very maybe" some drops on optical output to the receiver but beside those...

Timeshift will work again correctly, you will be able to start watching a
recording in progress and use timeshift on recordings, names of programs
will be in the recording and some things more...

It's better then 1.1.3, my humble opinion.
(You can go back if you don't like 1.1.4 as well)
