I know WMV, .TS are, but i here DIVX Mentioned.

So how do i know what is HD and what is not ?

Well you have to check the resolution. Anything with a resolution of 1280x720 (720p) or 1920x1080 (1080i) is high definition.

Okay, so it is as simple as that ?

So if i see a film in DIVX in 1280 x 720 that is HD.
