fast forward on avi's issue

When I fast forward an AVI i can only go up to 4x is this correct? The other problem is once I fast fprward and press play again it goes to a blank screen and nothing. Is this the same as everyone else or is there a technique to Fast forwarding?

They probably using old Sigma SDK, this SDK (v1.2 or something like that) had this bug and all of the players based on it too.
But up untill now everyone already updated to new SDK version.
(btw: if it is same old SDK you also going to have problems actually STOPPING the FF on DVDs too :) )

Probably , but not sure if in close one, actually it's very strange that they used that old SDK version on release , most even chipest players got updated by then.
