You've created a great matrix in the download section of this site of the several firmwares.

It would be very nice to have a link on the several options there areand how to use them!

As i'm very new to this subject, you would demistify a lot for new users.

more is to come. this was just a startup. I am on my way to do a little bit of background explanations and visions of a home network within the next couple of days.
Maybe as a christmas present :-)

Many things are under development and many of the progress we make depends on feedback from developers but it's coming...

We are making progress every day.

If you look at the matrix Available Mod. Firmware, you see developers still need to confirm the correctness of the list, when that has happenned, we will add a direct download link with in each file the explanation on how to use it... :-)

Thanks for the reply. Could you also include a "release date/time"
in your download matrix? would be nice. i'm also missing the ajusted/corrected Subtitle function (called sub2)

I understand that a lot is still under development, but could you give a short explanation to the:

Bootloader, What is it?
Clock V2, is it onscreen or just LCD in front. / how to ajust/set

The sub2 has to be confirmed by developers...

The most files are named Mod_Biker_ftp/weather/imdb.rar...
That does not cover all the features in the files, that's why we need to confirm with developers.

The bootloader is a little adjustment in the bootloader file that automatically loads scripts, placed in the bin/init directory of the romfs.file.
(For example the clock utility from AaronL)

The clock is a Display clock that will show when the player is in stand-by mode on the LCD front panel.

By the way, release date and time are not important since it's version dependant... like 2.7.4 is the latest version...
Different mod updates get v2 and v3 behind their names also...
