Hdparm

Hi, and thanks for the splendid Stage2. It sure made my KISS-player even more usable :).

I have one probem though.. When I try to run hdparm from telnet it just hangs the telnet session and responds nothing. if I stop the process with Ctrl+C it reports permission denied with almost any command from tcsetpgrp like this:

/hdd/stage2/root # hdparm
/hdd/stage2/root # ls
sh: tcsetpgrp: Permission denied
/hdd/stage2/root #

If I run hdparm in background then the telnet session exits..

Anyone who have had this problem?

What version of stage2 are you using ??
be sure to use version stage2_RD (i think you use a other version)

i also think hdparm needs a parameter
(use the search in the forum)

Hi, my hdparm did also not work., even the -V switch does not work. It has got a strange date:
-rwxrwxrwx 1 root root 42288 Jan 1 1970 hdparm
I renamed it to hdparm_old and copied the previous version from /hdd/stage2_old/bin This version, V5.4 works fine.

thanks for reporting, i will check this and will fix this on the new version
