Hi there,

since a few days I am asking myself a question. :?:
There are a few great portal sites for Kiss players out there, but as far as I have seen none of it is complete, and if I want to change the link to the portal you have to flash the firmware.

Why not making a small redirector script located on your local server?
Can you modify the webraido2 site on the fly or do you still have to flash it for every new item?

PS: In addition you would have much faster response time on some features.

Nice idea.
But first of all, I think its uselful to integrate a webserver in the kissmachine. So u can run your own kml -scripts (xml-parser etc)

i think the kiss is not powerfull enough to run a xml parser.
normally I think you should keep things as easy as possible. Building a webserver is not the main focus of a dvd player. :?:
