Hello,
After one year of absence, I'm back.
I just tried to connect my dp-508 to internet (the first time since I got it).
It's a rev2 with Toshiba 1712 model, and I use the modded FW 2.83 with all VGA included by Dracula. This FW works perfectly for playing movies, mp3 and network function, but I can't receive any webradio, meteo or game services : the dp-508 can connect to homepage (favorites, meteo, games, webradio3), but when I choose a menu (I have access to the principal menu : games, favorites, webradios, weather, webcams), it's impossible to navigate or select anything : for example if I select the mineswipper, I can read the rules, I have access to the menu "new game", but can't play, the same screen appears, and when I choose webradios, the server can't connect.
The time server doesn't work (it was OK with official 2.93 FW).
Is this normal because of a modded FW ?
So my question is : Hello Dracula, have you a new FW that corrects this little bug ? How can I change the webradio function ?
On the second hand, I'm surprised that all websites of Dracula and BIG have diappear, the links of Google are dead...
I've seen that BIG developped a 2.94 FW : if I test it, will my HD format or may I downgrade to 2.83 in case of freeze problem (it seems that occurs with some players) ?
