We need some more info on this my friend:

What player do you have: NTSC or PAL
What is the Sigma Chip in the KiSS: RavA or RevB

Try to tell us that and we might be able to help.

Regards.

Another tip:

When the tray won't open, turn it off, press the eject button and keep pressing it while you power on...

It should eject here...

Well, here's is the situation you have.
(Don't shoot the messenger)

The problem of adding a HDD to Rev.A is that you can do it, but the Sigma will only accept ONE drive. The so called "Master" Drive of them. You can use a simple Jumper Switch. It has 4 pins, shortening 2 of them when you switch).

Connectin to both Master-Jumpers (HDD and DVD) and selecting the drive u want to use at the moment. This needs the player to be in off mode, so really shutdown the player to switch.

I dunno what happen when you switch it while the player is on, so better don't try.

A very long post about DP modding is here:

Hope this helpdes a little.

Hi again :
I found the problem and a solution :-) well like i write before i use these to devices with a switch so when the dvd is master the HDD will be off and when the HDD is on the DVD is off well it was not like that before when problem was present i make a switch solution for these 2 devices where the switch only works with the master and slave pins on these two devices but they get power all the time, now i found out if the HDD don't have any power and the dvd is present, then the player works and ofcourse if i give power to the HDD and close totally the power of the DVD the player will also works without problems :-) but with these 2 devices at time then i got the problems that i write before. now i just have to make a switch solution that when the DVD power is on the HDD power will be totally ofline and when the HDD power is on the DVD drive power will be ofline . i can't see any other solution .
like you write before:
Maybe someone else has an idea...
Any comments, ideas, you are all wellcome.

If this is the solution i guess the PSU is not sufficient for both DvD and HDD. The won't be another solution then switching power along with the Master Switch.

Greetz and thanks for the update.
