| Introduction |
MPC Club started back in 2003 as a portal for some friends to discuss media players that were relatively new to market. Surprisingly a lot of unattended users joined us finding a place to discuss media players. We decided to launch a web site targeting a couple hundred users called www.Mpeg-Playcenter.com, a domain we still own today. Finding we were rapidly growing, we took things more seriously and came up with a concept: Bring manufacturars and resellers closer to the public and provide a different portal than the usual where only technical stuff is going on. MPC Club, Teaming 4 Entertainment was born...
Over these years we saw exponential growth and received numerous praises for our "none professional" approach, as well from visitors reading our "straight forward" messages and opinion up to brands finding a challenge in convincing us their products are good. MPC Club belongs to one of the most respected portals out there today, despite a few rough bumps and collisions.
In 2008 MPC Club targetted not only Europe but expanded to the rest of the world. The growth that came with this move now causes 30% of MPC traffice generating from outside of Europe and we intend to keep growing. In 2009 eventually we decided the CMS was insufficient and invested up to €5.000 in a completely new portal, including a lot of customizations that keeps alive MPC's house style of being different in attitude, but also in colors and design...
MPC is and will remain a completely free environment for people to enjoy and we will remain bringing hot news, sharp comments and keep the level of discussion at "human levels"...

| MPC: The Club |
| Since MPC is not engaged into any commercial activities, obviously we need a source of income to maintain everything. The Club system is invented for this purpose and delivers you a better experience of browsing MPC. Although it does not bring more content (being us community minded and keep everything free), it does allow you to profit from a lot of small benefits.
