I think this is depending on the services you have running, switch off services you don't needs, My Qnap 509 Pro take around 3-4 mins to boot and this has been upgraded with 4GB Ram.

I have just bought a Ultimate Qnap 869 Pro which comes with upgraded memory from qnap.

UK also offers a free HDMI cable along with memory upgrade.

DTS Core - 1.5 Mbps

DTS-HD - 24.5 Mbit/s / 7.1 / lossless

I personally prefer PCM lossless sound way better than all and has higher bitrate.

I really think there is something wrong...

sorry totally forgot about this, now PCM is uncompressed audio and is decoded by the dune and then sent to the amp, bitsreaming send the signal to the amp to decode.

i just use makemkv

that's really weird on my prime 3.0 which has the older chipset they all work fine and bluray runs flawlessly over the network, you might have a faulty player.

try doing factory reset then and...

does you denon have the latest firmware?

My nephew who has the same setup as me but with a denon 3808 and i can confirm it work fine on his one too.

does it do it with all DTS-HD tracks that...

i have re-encoded some of my bluray's in mkv with DTS-HD and chapters with no issues, plays fine.

i used MakeMKV to convert the blurays.

did you convert them yourself or just download them? ...
