Default Need some advice to connect various devices for recording

I would like to connect this devices:

- DP-558 (2/1)
- TV (2/1)
- digital Sat-Receiver (2/0)
- PayTV-Box (2/0 + cable in/out)
- old VCR (2/1)

(- old DVD-Player (1/1) )

The numbers left of the device are the # of SCART-Connectors / S-Video-Connectors.

It should be possible:
- recording old vhs-tapes from vcr to dp-558
- recording PayTV-movies to dp-558
- (of course) recording movies directly to dp-588
- watching TV on any channel during recording from other source

Is this possible? How can I connect my devices correctly?

Hi there
I know that at least this ain`t possible ... you can`t recorder something and watch something else at the same time !! sorry
About the other things, I think (someone correct me if I`m wrong) those also can`t be done because you can only record the tv tuner !!

this should be no problem. it's not possible to change channel on your recorder but on your tv you can watch every channel you want to.
