Well before you return it check everything proparly (cables, connection, hdd, newest FW,etc)

BTW KISS responded within a day. If you do have a problem and try to contact them, you need to be as specific as you can. Tell them what's wrong, how you connected it and what you have tried sofar to solve it.

In my case they just asked if I had upgraded to FW 1.0.7. and I already had written that I have done that. Writing that mail seems to have been a complete waste of time.
Apparently there is a truckload of players with poor QA-Testing delivered to customers at the moment. So I think I'd better return it rather quick instead of opting for an exchange player which has probably the same problem again.
