Hi guys,
I'm new here and I plan to buy NMT (thinking about Kaiboer brand).
I'm thinking purchasing one of the models after Chinese New Year: K500, K009, H1073 (all of them with HDD3.5"). Any suggestions concerning other brands are welcomed
I would have some questions to people that are using this models/brand or used it before.
1. Can movies be organised in Folders or they are all placed in one folder?
What is max depth of the folders?
2. Can MP3 be organised in Folders?
What is max depth of the folders?
3. 2GB HDD
I plan to put inside 2GB (WD20EADS) HDD - have anyone tried it?
NTFS format so I can take it out and plug into PC.
4. I need "multi sound track" / "multi subtitles" on MKV format
I use Hand Brake to convert movies - there is a 4min converted sample below (in MP3 and AAC). Both samples have 2 sound tracks and 4 subtitles.
http://rapidshare.com/files/35081894...r_11_.mkv.html (46MB)
http://rapidshare.com/files/35081894...r_11_.mkv.html (44MB)
I would appreciate confirmation from current users of enlisted models if the files are played correctly (sound tracks and subtitles). Other model's users are welcomed as well

.
5. As much as I'm aware of MP3 player on all enlisted models is very simple and doeas not suuport m3u playlist - please confirm.
6. Does any of enlisted models connects to internet to download movie's covers (or they must be downloaded manually and saved with movie)?
7. Did anyone tried to use non standard subtitles files (in Polish, Russion, Spanish,...)?
Is it shown correctly or is there a possibility to pick up language charset while playing movie?
Is it possible to add fonts of other languages to the system?
8. How is the support of Kaiboer?
Read that it's not good and that they ignore customers - please confirm.
9. K600
There is one more model available on Chinese market - is anyone familliar with that model? Is it worth to add money (comparing to K500)?
10. High resolution JPG's (Canon 30D)
Read that quality of the screen is not so good and that browsing pictures is slow.
Can photos be organised in Folders (what is the max depth of folders?)?
I suppose it can't read RAW picures from Canon 30D
Thanks for help
