Here are two software packages which make sharing folders easy using NFS within the Windows platform, there are other ways, but i find these the easiest and I personally have used both on Windows 7 x64 bit.

Please see the guides (attached) in MS Word with screenshots on how to setup the following:

1) Hanewin NFS setup with Dune players

this has two fields adjusted to give better performance for Dune and maybe other media players. (please check guide for configure and setup)

2) Allegro NFS setup


Notes:
Please make sure you have allowed the software through any firewall inc windows if you have it activated.

Also please allow port forwarding on your router - I have allowed the following ports on mine 111 / 2049 / 1058 (these are the ones I used with Hanewin NFS which also work with Allegro) to your PC’s IP address

i.e
Mapping on on Dune:

Name: what you would like to call the share
Type: NFS
IP: ip address of the PC
Folder: /name (don’t forget the / and it is case sensitive also its the name of the export/mapping path)
Protocol: this can be UDP or TCP
