Default Dune HD MAX

Hi Guys

I just bought a Dune HD MAX - I'm wondering how I use USB stick as system storage. I have followed this link:

http://dune-hd.com/firmware/usb_flash_drive/

Without luck - My USB stick is formated. Can anyone tell me why my Dune wont accept or find any propper devices for system storage, even tho I have a USB stick connected to the Dune.

Thanks in advance

Regards Jimmy

I also posted in another forum, but this seems the right place - sry for the other post.

Hi,

This is usually very straight forward (or at least it was when I bought my Max some years ago )

- Insert the USB drive you want as System Storage into the Max
- format the drive through the Max (Select the PopUp-Menu button - choose Settings and format the drive (ext))
- download the file Dune_service_init_system_storage.dsf and copy it to another drive.
-Run the dsf-file and it should be able to finde the empty drive and install the system files.

If this doesn't work, perhaps you could try with another USB-drive.

Good luck.

Leave the internal hdd where it is, just run the DSF file with the flash drive attached.
