Hi Guys

Just grabbed myself a Dune HD Smart D1 and done the whole Yadis thing with very few issues. Initially used Zapitti but personally find Yadis better.

Now with TOUCH, the new series with Keifer Sutherland, I heard about you having to search for Touch (2012) and it will scrape fine.
Well yes that is true of the Fanart, Cover, Banner and synopsis but not the individual episodes. They still show as the japanese cartoon called Touch.

Any way I can manually change these episodes to reflect the right thing????

Also, while I am here, can anyone point me to somewhere that explains how to get the Yadis icon on the main screen???? I have searched and can't seem to find anything. When I click on MENU, on the yadis folder and icon, I get no option to add to main screen ONLY Favourites.

Really looking forward to browsing this forum to look at ways of customising the interface a bit and changing icons etc.

Can you get themes to add to the dune????

did you try to reload informations for all episodes ?

re. the icon, do you have sytem storage installed on your dune ?

Yes tried reloading all info and it brings everything back spot on except the episode info. Still shows each episode as the japanese cartoon, along with synopsis for each episode, that also refers to the Jap stuff.

On the question of System Storage, I installed a 1TB HDD and the Dune showed 2 HDDs and allowed me to format / initialise the first one as system storage. That is listed as system storage and works fine.
The Dune export folder is on the USB stick that is in there. The dune wouldn't let me use the USB as system storage but I can store stuff on it.
Some guides simply suggest pressing the pop up menu and "Adding to main screen" but no option of that sort comes up.
My home screen is the default Dune one but I intend to change it somehow so the Dune boots straight in to a screen with the Yadis icon on.

Found the custom template stuff, as you replied. Looking forward to using those and having some fun.

just tried to scrap Touch (2012) with a dummy file. It seems that the problem might come from the special episode. Try to remove the special (S00E01 i belive) and rescrap.

you can alternatively reconfirm the correct TV show by right clicking on the title and "change title".

other trick : use the "re-initialize dune interface" button (right top of yadis main screen) and/or delete the export folder. Re-process and export again. Some time when you change source for a file yadis is having problem to update correctly and needs to start from a clean export folder and built everything from scratch.

For the dune menu, go to set up and in display modes (if I remember correctly) use "complete" (you will then have only one screen on the dune, instead of tabs). then go to your yadis folder and "add to favourites".

You are a star. Cant try any of this until I get home from work but I have put aside tonight to do all this kind of stuff (Sad on a Friday night LOL)

One slightly off topic question: I have trawled through the couple of threads on custom templates and I am really looking forward to having a go with some of them but I can not see anywhere where it tells you how to actually install them.
I assume it will be somewhere in the Yadis folder on the PC?

very simple :
1. download the template
2. go inside the /template folder in yadis
3. put the new template folder you just downloaded in /template (double check when unzipping the template that it's not a folder inside another folder...you need the proper template folder with all files in it or yadis will bug)
4. go to set-up/interface, chose your new template, reprocess all and export to apply changes

I am normally a real techie about lots of things and I can knock up a corporate network when I have to but some times, with new technology, I just need to get my head round the basics.
I appreciate the time in allowing a newbie to Yadis, to get started.
