Now i tested another Dune Base 3.0 from a friend and there is the same prob. I think it´s the combination of the Dune and the Rotel and at the moment theres no way to play BD´s "normal" with HD audio tracks. Maybe the next firmware update by Rotel will solve the problem.

I think the decoder of the Rotel preamplifier is much better than the decoder of the Dune.

when you change from bitstream to decode to PCM it should be the same quality because it is pure digital.

There is only one way to decode DTSMA or Dolby True HD, there cannot be any difference.

if one uses the analog connection there may be a difference. Has the Base analog multichannel output?
