Let us ignore the 7GB file for now, and no there is no porn not now atleast specially with my wife's watchful eyes.

Anyway what bothers me is such iso's play fine on the computer, will this be fixed with further firmware updates?
I have been playing MKV's fine.

Until I ran into the WMV which got me a little irritated.

again : what's inside the ISO ? ISO is like a zip file, you can put anything inside. the fact that a PC can read it doesn't give any clue as a PC is able to read everything. So is it a BR structure, m2ts files, mkv... ? You need to check that and also have a look at the technical structure used for the files inside (run mediainfo once the iso is virtually mounted on your PC).

you can't "open" an iso, you need a tool to mount it virtually, something like daemontool. this will create a virtual drive to mount your ISO, then you will be able to explore it an see what's inside, like if it was a real disc.

Yup I'am aware, use Magic ISO.
Attached a screenshot of the folder structure.

can you try to keep only bdvm and certificate folders and remove the rest ?

I guess this is a ripping problem with content protection. You might be able to read it on your pc if you have anydvd for example, which doesn't have a Dune because it's an official BR player (so in fact content protection should be removed when you ripp, not duplicated...)

+1.

Looks like it still has the AACS encryption, which will not play on the Dune since it's not an original disc anymore.

If it plays on your computer, evidently you have AnyDVD HD or the like installed. Use Imgburn to create a new ISO with the copy protection removed.
