Default Current best software for creating dune_folder.txt etc

Hello,

I've used a few "movie organizers" since I got my Dune BD Prime 3.0 a long time ago.
None of them were REALLY good - a lot were ok. The last I tried was Movienizer which did a pretty good job. I'm kinda against buying a license at full price from them (they're a rude bunch). I can't fint a coupon code for it though, so now I am trying to figure out, if there is a program out there that does a decent job, and is easy to use.

MyMovies stopped supporting the dune_folder.txt structure and insisted to use the index, that's a no-go for me so I uninstalled it.

I wish you could install XBMC on the Dune BD Prime

Have you guys found anything good?

Have fun!

Use yadis in basic mode

I still don't understand why you don't want to use a full featured jukebox instead of dune_folder alone...

I've used MyMoves for quite a while - it works great. I have dune_folder.txt files all over the place - what do you mean they stopped supporting dune_folder.txt?

I guess he means they no longer support browsing through your movie files directly (with pretty dune_folder.txt); instead they write one index that you browse that combines all your movie locations together.

MyMovies switched to that roughly two years ago once a new Dune firmware enabled that capability.

I don't know why that's a problem for the OP; who would want to browse random drives full of movies instead? How do you remember which movie is where?

Gotcha. I've only been using MyMovies since the switch, so I never knew they organized movies a different way. I don't want to see or traverse the system myself - I want BD covers and backdrops. If the OP doesn't like that, I can't suggest anything else since I'm not familiar with other ways of doing it.
