It's a technical
problem. Realtek has had it for years.
Blessed be those that don't see it, but that doesn't make it go away or be any less of a deficiency.
I just want to know if this technical
problem has been fixed in the Mede8er's "non standard" 1186 chipset . . . my original question.
I got rid of my last Realtek player 2 years ago because of this . . . and it wasn't my "perception" . . . I've been happy with a stutter-free SMP8643 player since then, at least as far as 23.976 fps goes.
