I have had a traxdata MMS for a couple of years, originally I installed optware and increased SWAP files etc on the device according to hairybikers fantastic howtos from media player world.

All had been running well until just recently when I was forced to replace the HDD in my box. And now nothing works, I came online to find the tutorials I had previously used & THEY'RE GONE, well - I can't seem to find them!

I've now got a standard traxdata multimedia station with 2Tb (blank) drive it... it just doesn't cut the mustard.

SO....
Can anyone point me to some tutorials for this legacy box?

Ultimately I'd like a better setup, I now have a PS3 but the player support isn't great. A NAS that will encode and stream I believe would be the ultimate however I don't have a powerful enough PC or one that I want to leave on for this purpose.

If the suggestion is for a better setup I either need a HD box which will take a 2TB drive, or a NAS that will stream /transcode to the PS3 (also an xbox XBMC and iPad if possible)!

I also have the same player. I managed to grab off the site when it was still up, the file that has the resources and instructions inside the rar file that hairy biker put up there. Contact me with an email address and I'll send it to you as an attachment (it's 192K in size)
