Me, and a wide group of DP-50X owners, are waiting for an official stable release of stage2 fw. The great interest in it is confirmed by the exploding number of views for the "main thread".
But I would know if a release date for a stable official version is on the way. And meanwhile if there is a 508's stage2 ver that could replace the freezing 2.9.3 or the good but old dracula's 2.8.3 fw (b.t.w. of course MV free).

im working on this but its not easy to compete a public release
At this time im working on:
1- update for the dp-558
2- beta for the vr-558
3- beta for the dp-50x
4- real life

For the dp-50x I’m working on a way to prevent the zombie on exit telnet
it also needs fine-tuning,

The beta is already stable so you can ask for a downloadlink
(just send a PM)

Its not that easy to provide a release date because i'm working on this alone
(but the betatesters help me a lot with the feedback)

If there where more developers with more program skills then it would take a few days, but that’s unfortunately the case

So it still can take a few days,weeks,months
But the most importent part is that the betaversion is already running stable
