Hi,

I have recently installed the ipkg package for kissdx (on my mipsel based OpenMSS box). It is work fine and is much better than kissd.

But I have a problem. The maximum file size that it will play is about 3.95GB (under 4000mb). Is wanted to know, is this a limitation of the kissdx program or a limitation of my OS or filesystem? I am using the ReiserFS.

Also, has anyone else managed to play a file that is over 4gb in size?

I have played 6GB files with kissdx on an NSLU2. The kissdx source code is compiled with the same parameters for NSLU2 and MSS, so I don't think kissdx is the culprit here. The NSLU2 uses an ext3 file system.
