Default Ziova forumn admin does not allow modded firmware (RESOLVED)
That's really crazy guys !

In last Zensonic/Ziova firmware many users complained that splash startup sound is too loud.

So I took Zensonic theme creation tools (posted on Z site) , retrieved splash.wmv , put silence instead sound and created theme the way their site describes...

So in a few minutes I got this from their forum admins "SeeMoreDigital" :

LK,

I've placed your post/thread in the holding pen...

Please confirm that you have been given permission by Zensonic to distribute your modified firmware?
I do not know even how to react , that's just crazy !

Nea, Hi-Jack backs up community development 100%

I am no muslix64 but God, what a stupid admin - the community development is that can make a difference between product success and failure.

Contacted the company manager and the issue resolved - "modded themes are ok to distribute".

I agree this is not midified FW, this is hardly using the tools they make
available and share results with it and yes... I would have backed it up

Well it's hard to tell - it mutual

I couldn't keep quiet when he closes the threads because
"you are from Italy/Germany/UK/... and the file you asked for help with file that 30fps/NTSC resolution/Closed caption/R1 disk/... then this has to be copyrighted file you downloaded illigaly"
stuff like this so I started a lot of arguments with him, as result he banned me several times I get reinstated by Ziova managers (after e-mail) and this goes around
So now he kind of "looking for me".
Can't say that I am not the one who started it but he surely the one who keeps it going
