CSS desactivation does not work anymore
For some unknown reason, suddenly my Snazzio 1350 decided that "CSS DVD is not playable in PAL/NTSC mode".
So I applied again the CSS unlock code but to no avail. I tried the one finishing with 460 but it came back as INVALID.
The one finishing with 461 was accepted but when I put a Zone 1 DVD I get the same message!!!
The only thing I have done lately (but a long time before this happening) is that I updated the firmware to the last beta version.
Any hint ? any help ?

It shouldn't change the CSS licensing code...
Did you try multiple DVD's or just the one that did not work?

Sorry guys to take so much time but I never got the email signaling a post in the forum
So, as for the forum version I'll get back to you. I know it was the latest beta but I'll check again when my wife stop using it
And yes, I did try several DVDs!

Should I roll back ? If yes, where can I find a functional firmware ?

It should work, probably some keys are not accepted by the player.
We had no one complain it doesn't thus far....
(Can't test, as we don;t own a player anymore...)

I don't think it can be that. When I enter the codes (SLOW/FWD then numbers), I get a "REGION CODE:" message. Then when I enter 0 or 1, etc.
I get a "INVALID" error.
Anyway I tried with the Harmony and with the original remote. Same issue.

You should not wait until region pops up....
Just press the code without pausing...
