Default 4100SH Video Setup Settings Issue

Hi there every time I start the 4100SH it boots up to the explore file browser. The video is off center. I now have to go into setup menu and re-set the audio settings to digital and video settings to HDMI and select 720p save and exit. When exiting the setup menu is sometimes prompts you to save and other times nothing and you loose all your settings. You have go back in re-apply but also change something else like a misc /network setting then exit in order to get the prompt to save before exiting in order for the changes to take place. It never use to do this just started recently. I have flashed the unit back to original firmware and re-flashed to various versions, all have the same effect. Anyone else have this problem. I have tried contacting Dvico but no response for over a week now. I am wandering if an external device like my receiver is causing the issue, but cannot figure it out.

It's surely not normal behavior. If the settings are saved from setup it
should keep them. If not, i'm afraid you might have to claim warranty
on the unit. If you are sure you are doin it right... that will probably be the
outcome...

Default Info

Looking further into this issue of mine I found 2 files that were on the internal hard disk of the tvix 4100sh. The file names were the following EDID_FAILED.ted and EDID_MEI_0x56D0_0x75006515.ted. The first was a text file that read as follows.

Cannot load EDID Version 1 information from EEPROM (or info is incorrect)!
and the second was a hex file, when viewing the file with a hex editor it stated the following.

I deleted both the files on the hard disk and rebooted. The screen seems to have corrected its viewing position for now. I have turned off the unit several times and each time all settings were good. I am hoping that this will correct my issue stated prior. I have no idea what the above text file or hex capture means, maybe someone from dvico can answer. Will keep you informed.
