Just upgraded. This new firmware truly is a complete revamp. Excellent job boys! Hopefully this will encourage others to challenge Ziova by meeting what they've provided and in turn benefit us, the customers.

I installed the new FW last night and I'm disapointed .Except the faster menu switching my problems remains:
1. sub (microdvd subtitles) problem stll not solved
2. FF RW on HD AVI files still not solved
3. NTFS support for external HDD not solved

ZIOVA read this forum here and fix the stupid mistakes which makes me crazy

I believe Ziova gave up on FF/REW since it Sigma code which Sigma did not fixed for few last years.

Personally I got used to use "commercial skip" instead that now operates rather relibly (one problem - sometimes,on some files it goes back instead forward).
It's not a best solution but it works.
My bet Ziova "finished" with Z500/CS50x players , I doubt we will see major changes anytime, may be few minor fixes here and there but this players are "old age" , will look for something new SP863x based in 2008.

I hope the anoucement of the 615 does not mean no more FW updates for the 505/10, as there a still a few little niggles.
