Hi,

The last 5-6 recording made on my Kiss VR-558 has all been erroneous.

No matter how much I record, the recorded time shows as 27:18 minutes and when playing the recorded it continues to play the next film automatically when the time runs out.

Any ideas?

Check for HDD errors and double check schedule setup.
usually this relates to hard drive problems or if it all started on saturday,
check time settings as we entered winter time...

Not a case of summer/winter time changes - The problem was first registered a month ago or so.

Schedules look fine

Check HDD for errors, how do I do that? I would know on a Windows system

You can
- use stage2 check disk option
- use the special check disk cd
- use the KiSS 1.1.8 fw cd
Search this site for more details. Easiest way is the 1.1.8 fw cd. Even if you do not want to install 1.1.8, you can still use it to check your harddisk.
