It's impossible to have a recorder with no schedule recording!!!

If I hold the old firmware?
Or is better to upgrade to last firmware?

How I must to do?
i've assigned the IP 192.168.1.50 to the recorder, the ping is ok, but I can't transfer the file to the HMR by NET!

Hi rottervanz;

Have you tried to transfer files by net from PC to HMR using the PC GUI, which does not seem possible, or using the HMR GUI interface, which if following the instructions in the manual works for me?

IMHO the way the ellion HMR 700a and hyundai 350q do not seem to work as proper fileservers is a flaw which along with not having a semi opaque background for subtitles needs to be put right as soon as possible.

I've tried to use it by LAN, but I can't do it!
I've creayed a new network browser specify PC IP address, but he write me when i try to connect by LAN "login failed" .

Where I wrong?

Hi;

There are several things the problem might come from, here are some of them

On the PC: are any folders available to be shared with windows networking so can they be seen by another network computer? If so is there any login name/password needed to read and write to the folder/s.

Is there a software firewall running on the pc which might prevent the media player logging onto the folder?

Is there any other ftp/samba fileserver on the network? (for some reason this may cause problems.)
