Hi guys,

I received my 6500. Setup was easy, but.... I've a problem. I can't see files located in my Synology DS-207 (I'm using Samba). I've a PH A-100 also, and sharing is not a problem with Syno.
What I've forgot?

Hard to say, but sounds like the TViX is not set correctly...
Any changes you made to the firewall for the PH? IN that case, same is needed for the TViX...

I have solved it for my DS101G+ with an idea from an older thread in the mpc forums (in this moment I don't have the link - you can seach with tvixhd1 I think).

1. I create a user named tvixhd1 with pass tvixhd1 on my synology
2. I give access rights to my media folder on the synology for this user
3. I entered the path of this media folder in tvix network settings with samba connection

It works great since this time and i have access to all media files

Please check your firmware on you tvix - use the 1.1.33

On the Diskstation make a user : tvixhd1 with psw : tvixhd1
Give this User RO rights to your video share.
