DViCo has made preparations and is planning a repair option for all consumers
at no charge (also not for shipping the units to the repair center)
We cannot reveal more details for now as things are still being planned.
Whenever ready, we will inform you of the complete process and how things will
go down... I can only say DviCo will deliver upon our expectations of a brand
caring for their consumers and you will soon find out how they will handle that
exactly...

Hmm, that becomes interesting!
The media players competition pushes Dvico to really care about its consumers!

As Hey-Jack stated you will not have to ship your player for repairs. Similarly, I doubt that Dvico would send any electrical parts to end users to replace. Keep in mind that the player is not easy to open and usually results in a broken cable.
The most probable result is
1. Clock - FW upgrade that wakes up the player every night just to charge the capasitors.
2. Heat - they'll ship a dummy HDD to those that don't have one installed
3. USB - hmm, that is the most interesting part
Anyway, now I think that I will postpone the disassembling my 6500 to fix heating issues until Dvico comes up with their solution.
