DViCO TViX M-6500A
Display (dot matrix display) stopped working does this mean it has to be sent back for repair? or is there a fix for this?
If it has to go back can I remove hard drive first before it goes back?
I got my one from kj Global any good for repair?

Well what can I say I got a RMA number on line then i turn up at KJ Global in person with my DViCO TViX M-6500A and they tested it see the Display not working and in ten minutes I was out of the shop with a new DViCO TViX M-6500A in my hand and on way home so I can`t get better than that can i , so well-done KJ Global

Nice one - had the same case myself a few weeks back with the same fault (but on a 5100) and the front panel display simply stopped working. Everything else was OK and the unit could be used just no display.

I think it was a bad time for KJ when I enquired as it took the best part of a month to get the RMA, unit to them and returned (see the thread on KJ). I think they had some sort of relocation under way at the time that accounted for the delay. Good to see they are back on form though!

Yes I think that may have been the case as I had the old address 289 Ewell Road Tolworth, Surbiton Surrey, KT6 7AG, and the new one is 276 Ewell Road Tolworth, Surbiton Surrey, KT6 7AG, on the other side of the road about 200 feet away I needed to ask someone at the old address if they had moved , and you can`t blame the shop that sales the DViCO TViX M-6500A if the makers (Dvico) make the mistake when making the DViCO TViX M-6500A with the faults
