Im not having problems installing the nmt aps and formating the esata istar enclosure BUT I just bought a 1tb FreeAgent Pro and I'm trying to slave it to the istar via USB...When it asks for the NMT apps I tried loading them to the USB drive but it doesn't see it. I even tried formating it and putting it on the root of the usb drive. It only sees the nmt apps when they are on a thumb drive!!?? Sooooo how do I get this dang drive formatted by the ISTAR??
Any help would be greatly appreciated guys. Thanks.

You cannot get the USB drive fromatted by the USB. These functions only
apply to the drive that functions as "internal drive" which in iSTAR's case
means the HDD connected to the eSATA port on the left hand side of the
unit.

Thanks for the quick respond! So i should just format the usb slave drive in NTFS and call it a day?? Will the istar still play MKVs efficiently from this USB Drive formatted that way?
