Does anyone use backup power that isn't directly supported by QNAP. Qnap supports some of the more expensive UPS systems but does anyone have experience with the cheaper models from eg. APC? Do they have reduced functionality? Seems to me we don't need a high capacity one for a 80W server.
I bought a “MGE Ellipse 600VA 360W” “USB & Serial”, seems to be working fine the TS-509 sees it with make and model so I think its working just fine, it was 100€.
All I need now is a TS-509 that works properly.. ARRR.
