Hi all

I've used the search function but can't seem to get this problem resolved.

On the 6500, i've set icon mode on the main menu and can see the icons for my folders, however when i enter a sub folderr (eg TV) I cannot get the icons up, tried selecting the function button on the remote but it does not pull up any menu so I can choose icon mode.

I've tried copying the icon file from the main menu into the tv directory (via a PC) however this causes the unit to reboot everytime I select the TV directory, so I deleted the icon file from this folder and it was back to normal (a list with no icons)

Can anyone help

does no one else have this problem or does no one use icon mode?

More likely no one else have this problem

Maybe you could give more info: what firmware are you using, are those folders on internal hdd, network shares, usb? Or upload some pictures you're using for icon mode so we can try them, maybe they're the cause you never know... (just throwing ideas in the air)

I remember having lots of problem with icon mode back then with older netshare 2.01 along with tvix firmware 1.1.x (instability mostly)
Starting with firmware branch 1.2.x and netshare 2.02 all these problems were solved (at least for me)
