Default Judder while in 24p mode?

Hi everyone,

I own a Panasonic TH-42PZ85 42" plasma tv, it has Intelligent Frame Creation (to make things as smooth as it can be, I don't like it).
When I play an HD-DVD from my Toshiba EP35 or a Blu-ray from my PS3, both in 24p output mode over HDMI, the playback on my tv is smooth, even with Intelligent Frame Creation turned off.
But when I play an mkv or ts file from the Tvix in 24p mode, playback on the tv is never smooth, even with Intelligent Frame Creation turned on. It doesn't matter if I select PAL/24Hz or PAL/NTSC/24Hz in the settings menu.
Do more people have this problem?
And what does Auto BCS mean?

Thanks!

-Tvix only runs in 1080/24p mode with HD file that have 23.98fps and 24fps(play the movie file then hit info button to find out what frame rate is). If the HD file is 25fps, 29.98fps, 49.98fps, Tvix runs in 1080p mode.
-Auto Switch setting for PAL TV is PAL/24HZ, NTSC TV is NTSC/24HZ
-Auto BCS only use for 1080/24p mode.
1. Set to ON if you want the Brightness +11 and the Contrast -12 by default(brighter image).
2. Set to OFF if you want the Brightness 0 and the Contrast 0 by default(darker image).
-More .MKV files run in 1080/24p, not .TS, .WMV.

Just to ask a silly question, but why would you want to adjust picture settings such as contrast and brightness through the player and not the TV?
