Is it possible to stream your PC desktop to a TVIX or a NMT?

What I mean is the following - let's assume that I receive a live TV channel using a slingbox or from the web (not youtube) on my PC - then I only nead to forward stream it onto the TVIX (I have a 6500) or the NMT?

Is this possible?

i know some users are using vlc to stream to the pch (NMT), i peronaly use DVB Viewer Pro to watch LiveTV on my 3 NMT's and also to watch my Recorded TV Series, some users use Winamp to stream to the pch.
VNC is not working good and also wouldnt be fast, emveepee from the nmt forum has tested it out with his client to gbpvr.
