No Content Found

I've searched the forums and spent the last 3 hours doing everything I have seen on here to try and fix a problem I am having, but I still have issues.
I'm trying to connect my pc to the Istar without using an app like myiHome. When I go to Network Share on the IStar, I am able to click into the share on my pc, and then I see my computer name which I am able to click on, but then it tells me I have no content in the location.
I have set up a share on a folder, and can see it as a share on my pc when I view it in network connections. I have also enabled my guest account, and set it to have full access in the permisions and security tabs. I have also messed around with the name of my share folder, calling it downloads - so that it is one word and has no capital letters, but all this still hasn't solved the problem.
Does anyone else have any other suggestions?
