Hi guys,

I bought a Mac Mini one year ago, but had to make a RMA on it just after receiving it. Do to rumors on upgrade I decided to wait to get another, you probably know the rest.

Now I've seen the launch of A110, and is interesting on checking it out, but as I have a Musical Fidelity X-DAC V.8 with USB input, I was wondering if the PCH can register an external DAC connected through the USB port, and use it as an external sound card. I do have 3 coax digital inputs on the DAC, but they are already in use, thus I need to use the USB in order to avoid splitting the signal - and losing some of the quality.

From a music perspective this is primarily for playing FLAC through PCH of a NAS.

Not sure, but I don't think it can do that.
Primary focus on the NMT's is still video.
Don't expect an elaborate music and picture section.

It will do flac via HDMI and optical, but not usb, sorry.
