TVIX M-6500A HDMI SIGNAL LOSS
Hello everyone,
I have a TVIX M-6500A which I installed the latest firmware on. When I watch movies, whatever the type or resolution, after half an hour (approx.), the screens starts losing it's signal. The signal goes and comes back until eventually the screen goes dark with no signal at all. I then have to reboot in order to have signal again. I have been trying out older (and newer) firmwares, but none were helpful so far, problem remains the same. Oh yeah, I also checked the cable and the tv, which are both ok. Has anyone got similar problems or a solution to this problem?
Thanks a lot,
Kristof.

This is a very common problem, and seems to crop up in almost every thread

feemanbe, as already commented, this is one (of many) TVix bug.
As far as I know, this issue was introduced by firmware 1.3.74. It looks like it is a bug in the HDMI protocol implementation, being that your milage my vary depending on the display you are using (some TV brands are more sensitive to a malformed HDMI stream than others).
Bottom line: if you are using firmware 1.3.74, try downgrading to 1.2.52 and it is very likely that this problem will go away.

Have you tried the latest beta? (1.3.95)
http://www.mpcclub.com/modules.php?n...wtopic&t=20257
It's supposed to have some hdmi issues fixed
Anyway, maybe we could start a new thread to gather up information on what TVs are affected by these problems, it might end up being helpful for some people, or even Dvico!

I am using version 1.3.95 and unfortunately, I have experienced the same screen blackout using HDMI.
Sometimes the image comes back momentarily with a very strange distortion where the left third of the picture is intact and the right two thirds are "stretching in and out". Hard to explain...
I am using a Pioneer 9:th gen plasma.

Yep, have also tried the new beta, but screen blackouts keep occuring.
I'm using a Panasonic TH-42PV70 Plasma screen.
Does anyone have an idea when Dvico will release a full stable firmware?
Thanks.

also confirm that this bug still happens on 1.3.95. (we should really give it a name... someone called it the 'Jittery Bug' on another thread)i think
I have a bad feeling this is a hardware fault which all units have and is not fixable via FW.
I think a few people should write an email to Dvico and see what their comment on this issue is.

Happens occansionally. HDMI to the tv and optic fiber to the tuner.
