Did someone test this http://demod.dvico.com/preRelease/tvix_M-x100_1.7.9.zip version?

Changes from 1.7.5
1. Fixed some of folders and files are not shown.
2. Fixed DTV tuner detection and scan problem.
3. Fixed system hang after playing the last file of the folder.
4. Fixed pictures are not played when played through playlist.
5. Fixed minor UI bug

Known issue.
FTP may stop when upload/download.

Well....another firmware? Useless! Fix the Toshiba WL66 bug, then I might be able to use the new firmware....any other fixes are useless for me.....VERY GOOD work!!!!

Why this FW was not announced by Hi-Jack? Why it wasn't created a thread about it? Can we trust this?

Is that true that the missing folder issue is fixed now?

I did some testing with 1.7.9:

- Announced fixes for this FW are OK for me.

But, some other problems:

- No more sound over HDMI when the audio is DTS (6ch). This is the main problem I found. Must be fixed.

- The slow launch of internal HD based xVid /divx/ movies (already posted here)

- Forward and backward pictures over 3 megapixels (over 1 MB size), is a problem. Very unstable. But I can live with that!

I got the same problem in 1.7.5, no sound with DTS and HDMI.

Damn it I need a Toshiba WL66 LCD fix for any new firmware! Isn't that possible? What the hell did they change in the code after 1.3.15??

If you have a hdd inside or plug in a usb key, wouldn't the tvix write some edid fail.ted file with the 1.7.9 firmware if something goes wrong?
If it does, maybe send it to dvico via their my q&a page, and they'll look at it.

Try it quickly, who knows how much more firmwares will come out for this model :P

And write them a well explained message with the link to the ted file.

So far, there are 3 bugs that were fixed in new firmwares (i own a 6500A) after i took the time to talk with them, so it's not a waste of time as some people say.
If i may add, try to act clueless and especially not agressive lol. They really seem to not respond when remarks directed toward their skills are in there :P
