For NTSC:
(either by original FW or by using PAL FW and doing a "blind changeover")

So far there is an FTP firmware for the dp508 NTSC, but no telnet and FTP in either 2.7.4 or 2.8.0. This would allow HDD command-based resets via telnet when the FTP locks up/times out and avoid alot of dp508 poweroffs if I understand this right. Still Telnet and FTP together would rock for NTSC.

Anyone planning to make this in the near future? Some other desired items:

clockv2 ala Aaronl (NTP clock is less attractive and not needed)
MV disabled
tinystocks/weather/imdb/webradio

of lesser interest would be:
SMB mount
UDF

AaronL is currently preparing different versions for his mods including telnet but no FTP.

No one has found the hack in the new version yet for the Weather MOD.
KiSS made it all a little harder but someone will find it eventualy.

A couple of days are still needed for the first mods to become available (considering developers do test their mods before releasing).

We all await the first ones releasing...
