Default Which f/w am I best using for general use.......

Hi guys

Not used my TviX M-6500 for quite some time as I got frustrated with its unreliability but would really like to start using it again and just need a few pointers on the most reliable f/w for what I need.

I output sound to a 5.1 amp (DD5.1 & DTS) via optical (sadly not an HDMI amp), I output video via an HDMI switch to my TV.

Generally I transfer movies to the internal HDD rather than streaming but I do love to stream internet radio.

Finally I would ideally like to be able to access BD rips.

Thanks all

BA

I too have used my tvix less and less , usual reasons, nuff said.
I have upgraded to the latest tvix_M-6x00_1.3.132 with bluray support for what it's worth some success but mostly fustration and stuttering video with bluray rips.

I see you have had a hundred views and not a single comment.. sorry about that.

Any way good luck ...not much help from me apologies.

My setup is similar to yours.

Don't know if it's the best firmware, but I've got the 1.3.125 beta firmware since the release. And it's working very well (stable) on my box. Hope this helps...
