Well now that you're back, care to address the single question being asked all year long by your customers or will you pull your usual bullshit of promoting your new model while ignoring your other customers?

Do you think anyone wants to buy elektron knowing they will be screwed by you after you release a newer model?

I would rather you be honest with your customers and stop being a dick. Tell us you stopped supporting the EHP-606, and we should not expect any further updates.

Try what? Some hack to their device (doesnt even link directly and im not going to search for it) but then I cant use the remote control? How am I supposed to use the device if the remote control isnt working?

It's rather difficult to understand how Elektron is working from a couple of months ? A lot of customers are clearly expecting the DTS downmix implementation! I remind you that high definition standard container is the matroska file having most of the time one single DTS soundtrack!

Nowadays almost all NMT players offer this feature quiet usefull when connecting directly the player on a LCD or plasma screen.

So far nothing is coming from you, so are we loosing our precisous time ?

Be sure Elektron that your precious customers will not wait forever !

Can somebody provide clear instructions on how I can enable DTS downmix on my EHP-606 per the instructions floating around on the internet as I'm tired of waiting for the official release which IMHO will never come.

EHP-608 have already DTS. It's no more a problem on DTS contract. It would be simple to put it on EHP 606 If elektron china want to do so.

But I don't think they want to do it !

I am very disappointed about this company

Elekton will loose some credits with time. If its not already done !

Anyway so many users are already so dissapointed with

- the poor quality support
- the poor maintenance website
- the lack of news
- Features not delivered as promissed
...

In the meantime competitors become stronger and stronger.
Unfortunately Elektron seems to ignore it.
I hope they know what they do because I will kick out very soon my Elektron 606.
and I will not regret it.

I have had my EHP-606 for almost a year now...and only brought it because Elektron promised DTS downmixing shortly after my purchase. Well since they have not held up to their end of the deal I have cross flashed my 606 with the popcorn hour firmware.

DTS downmixing is working perfectly now...the only downside is the remote for the device does not work anymore. This is still ok because I use a logitech harmony 550 remote anyway. I programmed for the popcornhour A-110 and all is well.
