It becomes ridiculous that you are not able to provide a clear answer concerning the DTS

With no response from Elektron and the poor communication about this problem, is it possible for MPCCLUB to blacklist this provider from the site. No more reviews on Elektron products ... and no more topics for new product.

If we ban brands for not living up to their promises, unfortunately we'd have no further products to discuss. Banning should never be the end result of an effort. Unfortunately in your case the player does not have DTS but wasn't advertised with it either, neither was the review discussing DTS downmix I believe at the time that could be included in your purchase (unless you purchased not based on the review and on the promise of Elektron to add it)...

All NMT brands have been promising DTS downmix and only half of them realized the update which costs a lot of money. Depending on sales, such investment can be made or not by the manufacturer however it's wrong of them to say they will if they never do... Then again, the process how DTS handles new licensees is long and hard... we seen it happen over and over again and whil we demand DTS downmix on all products in 2010 as a standard feature, earlier models are at the discretion of the manufacturars, and we can only recommend to add it (even it sales wise the decision does not make a difference, appreciation levels of the customers will raise which is the most important one).


So i'l join you asking Elektron... when do we get DTS downmix firmware?

We checked with Elektron and they will not be providing DTS downmix capable firmware due to not getting the agreement with DTS to provide it... So, we recommended Elektron to officially state to their users DTS downmix is not coming so they can move on and not keep asking about something that never will be added...

I have cross flashed EHP-606 with PCH A110. The HDX procedure available in this thread/ forum works fine. Now I have even updated to the latest PCH December firmware.

Since I have the Harmony 880, it was easy to add the remote device for PCH, as otherwise remote control will be problem.

Now when I boot it shows Popcorn Hour loading...I feel the interface is little faster and more responsive now!

No, I did not try to revert to Elektron firmware, though I had backed up the 606 firmware.
Since I am happy with the PCH interface, I don't wish to revert now

If I have already had a A-110 flashed Elektron NMT, can I flash the latest firmware from Popcorn hour exactly the same as A-110 box?
