Hello, I just bought an external hard drive samsung story 1TB. I formatted it NTFS and copied my films. When I connect it to my Istar Mini, after quite a lot of time I get the error that the operation cannot be completed...
What could be the problem? Is there some known issue with hard drives?

Try using other file system. For files less, than 4Gb - you can use FAT32. More than 4Gb - try EXT2 or EXT3 filesystem.
