can't play files after move
I've moved all my .avi and .iso to one folder.
now when i press play it just selects the next file instead of playing the movie.
How come?
i've tried to move a file into a folder again and that works.
can't i have all files in one folder?

it should not matter to have multiple files in one folder... combining with ISO or DVD files might confuse the smartnav system. Disable it in setup and try again... either that or the disk info is corrupted and requires a checkdisk...

kaarup, I have a project folder with AVI, MPG, ISO & BIN files and they can be played without any problem on TViX with SmartNav enabled.
I suspect Hi-Jack's second conclusion is more likely. Try connecting TViX to PC via USB and run chkdsk x: /f (where x is the designation of TViX).

Hi Guys
I've tried what you said with chkdsk w/o any luck.
Went though my files and they are all .iso, .avi or .mkv so no TS folders from DVDs or similar.
Any other ideas?

The only reason it should 'jump down the list' is if the file is faulty or not recognised. I can't think of a simple answer, sorry

OK, are you saying that you have loads of files that won't play if they are in one folder, but will play if (ALL) placed in another?
If this is the case, have you checked that there aren't some locked privileges to the non-playing folder?

ohh.
had all the files in the root of the drive. now they work. had to move them into a folder and direct netshare to that folder.
another thing:
some movies are ripped as two cd's. how can i combine these into a .iso. tried to use magicISO and simply create an iso with the two files, but that's a no go
